SnapTurtle is an educational AR-powered wildlife discovery app designed for families and children. Our mission is to encourage outdoor exploration, nature education, and family bonding through gamified photography adventures in real-world locations.

Eligibility and Account Creation

• SnapTurtle is designed for users of all ages, with special protections for children
• Children under 13 require parental consent to create an account
• Parents/guardians are responsible for their children's use of the app
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

Acceptable Use

You May:

• Use SnapTurtle for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Take photos and complete challenges in public spaces
• Share your achievements with family and friends
• Provide feedback to help us improve the app

You May Not:

• Use the app for any illegal or harmful activities
• Harass, bully, or harm other users
• Share inappropriate content or personal information
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the app
• Use the app in ways that could damage wildlife or natural environments
• Trespass on private property while using location-based features

Safety Guidelines

Important: SnapTurtle encourages outdoor exploration, but safety comes first:

• Always follow local laws and regulations
• Respect private property and "No Entry" signs
• Stay on designated paths and trails
• Never approach or disturb wild animals
• Children should always be supervised by adults
• Be aware of your surroundings and potential hazards
• Follow park rules and wildlife protection guidelines

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

• You own the photos you take using SnapTurtle
• Photos are stored locally on your device, not on our servers
• You grant us permission to analyze photos for challenge completion (processed locally)
• You're responsible for ensuring your content doesn't violate others' rights

Our Content

• SnapTurtle, our logo, characters, and app content are our intellectual property
• You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
• AR models, educational content, and game mechanics are protected by copyright

Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. Key points:

• We collect minimal data necessary for app functionality
• Photos remain on your device
• Location data is used only for challenges, not tracking
